I worked as a cashier at Kroger a long time ago, and the only thing they asked me was "What did you do at your last job?", I told them, and then I was offered the job.

I think they gave it to me pretty much because I was the only one on the staff outside of the manager with over a high school diploma (I had an associates degree at the time.)

Its a grocery store, they arent going to give you any the deep philosophical questions you hear about going on in the corporate world. In reality, their two biggest concerns are that youll show up, and not shop lift.

The last time i worked at Kroger was at 14, which was 7 years ago. I guess random questions of your personality and what you would do in certain situations. I also had to take a drug test.
