It says... For acute back pain, take a 30C potency four times daily. What does that mean? It is for homeopathy.

There are different strengths of homoeopathic drugs which are measured by a number followed by a C. Just look for the remedy at that strength (it will be on the bottle) and take as advised;
The C stands for "centile". Say you have 100 mls of concentrated remedy, you take 1 ml out and add it to 99mls water (bringing it back to 100mls. Thats a 1 C dose. Now do that 1ml to 99ml 30 times and you have a 30C dose...just a touch of extra info :)

It would be of greater help if this "remedy" has any ingredients listed. From the little info you give, this "remedy" could be anything! DON'T put anything in your body if you have the least bit of uncertainty about it! Looking up "homeopathic back remedy" on the internet would probably give you as much info as anyone writing in to answer this. If you purchased this at a health food store, they should be able to answer this also.

In homeoptahy the strengths are very small, this case probably one capsule which strength is 30c--not mg or gm or ml
