girlfriend that is for an individual to decide because everybody has there own taste. But what I think is probably a woman that don't nag and complains too much but says what needs to be said and gets over it. A woman that cooks and believes that her bf or husband should have the best in everything ( that is after herself though). The famous one... a woman that knows how to make her bf/husband happy in terms of sexually. I think a man looks for someone that could be his other half, his backbone someone that would stand up for him in all the rough times, through thick thin, richness and poorness... Someone that he knows if he has nobody else he has you! I hope this answers your question.

communication...men find the prettiest of girls unsuitable for wives or girlfriends if she lacks the skills to verbally communicate on a social level, she doesn't have to be the smartest cookie in the box, just be able to talk about more than herself, her friends, her clothes, her education, her family, her income, her pet(s), her job...etc
