How does this translate into english?

Let p, q, and r be the following statements:
p: Roses are red
q: The sky is blue
r: The grass is green

( ~ r ^ ~ q) --> ~ p

^ means and.

~ means not, i.e. if r is "The grass is green" then ~r is its negation, "The grass is not green".

a -> b means "if a, then b" or "a implies b" or, somewhat confusingly "b, if a".

So it's:

If the grass is not green and the sky is not blue, then roses are not red.

IF the grass is NOT green AND the sky is NOT blue, then roses are NOT red.
