The late 1950 and most all of the 1960 years are definitely classic iron by now. There are some models that were limited production that became instant classics.

Early H-D's were nicknamed "Silent Gray Fellows." Through the years, many have become "classics," each with their own contribution to the companies history, but look at the 1903, three produced. Now thats what I call a classic!

Everyone is going to have a different answer. There are some Harleys that I really like and others that I wouldn't buy. My preference is a softtail. I currently have a Deuce

The most Classic Harley is the Electraglide. It is truely the "Barcalounger" of all motorcycles.

Depends your question is fairly vague. There's a lot of classic designs through the years. I love FLs in the 40s. You can see a lot of the influence in todays designs.
