Absolutely. Everyone is different and what is enough for you may be lower or higher than what is right for another. I have one high-maintenance child and he is enough. My friend has 4 very low-maintenance kids and that is right for her.

Money, time, lifestyle, desire, and lots of other things should go into your decision. It's tough to know what is right because being wrong is an 18+ year mistake. :)

Yes and no. Three kids are enough for me. My sister has six that was enough for her. I've seen a women on the Discovery Health Channel who has 16 and their family is still growing! It just all depends on the person. If you want to have a big family. If you can afford to take care of them and are able to spend time with each one. It shouldn't matter how many children you have.

love wise i think you love all your kids, no matter how many you have, the same. but finances, time, energy, and space all play a huge part in the size your family should be. Each time you have another baby, it takes away a little time from the children you have. My cousin has 8 children. two are adopted and are 14 and 17. the other six are 10, 7,6,3, 18 months and a newborn. She has no time!! they struggle financially, are cramped in their four bedroom house, and can spend little quality time together. So i think you can have too many kids. 2 -4 is plenty and youll have more time on your hands to enjoy them.

Ask yourself these questions.
1. Do you have enough time to spend with the children?
2. Do you have adequate income to provide for their matierla needs?
3. Is there a father that is married to you and will be home to spend time with the children?
4. Do you have a secure place to live?
5. Can you provide spiritual nourishment?
6. Can you provide physical nourishment?
7. Do you have enough love for all of them?

If a state requires licensed daycare providers to have no more than 5 children per staff member in an 8 to 10 hour day, I don't think 2 parents can care for a gaggle o'kids for 16 to 24 hours per day!

Yes I do but not because I dont have enough love to give but for financial reasons. Im stressing about 3 kids (im pregnant with my third), I couldnt image if I had 6 or more, but if we found out we were pregnant with say sextuplets - im sure that we would find a way to make it work.

Yes my best friend has 4 and is pregnant with #5. I love her to death but she is already on public aid and her husband only works part-time so basically they can't afford the ones that they already have. Don't take this wrong it is one thing to use public aid to better yourself but in reality she is going to be on it until her kids are grown and out of the house and that is wrong.

I think that this is totally a personal choice. If you are financially stable and can afford the kids you bring into the world I think it is OK to have as many as you want.
