I always surprised to see very few people/races are happy with their colour (majority). I've seen the same people being proud of their being white/black/brown/yellow..etc..

I am brown...when I go to my parents country I see there are million of ads telling people they can turn their colour white/fair if they use that particular product...

Here in North America...I see lots of white people trying their best to gain some brownish skin (tanned)...

Same problem while black and east asian? Why is life is this way? Why dont we just accept whatever colour we are made of from? It was not our choice, was it? so whats the problem.... why do we have to spend so much on cosmetic and exposing our self to skin cancer?

I have no attention to offend anybody...I am sorry otherwise..

You are right. We should all be happy with ourselves. It is sad but it is not just skin color. Think about it everyone wants to look different than they are. Skinny people want to gain weight, overweight want to lose. Straight hair people hate it and wish they had curly hair and on and on. It would be great if we could all see ourselves as the wonderful person God created. After all we are all created in His image.

People are rarely satisfied with their looks, and most are always doing something to change them - makeup, hair color, face lifts, etc.

The majority of people seem to follow whatever trend is set by the fashion industry. It wasn't that long ago in America that lighter skin was considered to be the goal. It meant that you didn't have to work in the fields all day. Then, as times changed, a dark tan meant that you had leisure time to just lay around in the sun, so that was coveted.

People just want to look rich. It also used to be that a little meat on your bones was desirable because it meant that you had enough money to eat well. Now, the opposite is true. People want to be as skinny as possible because that's what the rich people are doing.

yeah, most people dont love who they are and truely appreciate who they are. i mean i myself go tanning once in a while to keep my colour nice..and alot of t he time with black, chineese etc when there are products to make your skin lighter or darker they just arent proud of who they're and where they come from.. and they think that because usually someone teases them because of their colour or backround..they're simply not proud..and why i really have no idea but there are reasons for why people do the things they do

the floor features a pigment talked approximately as melanin which will become destroyed whilst that's in touch with the sunlight's rays. The physique counteracts this with the help of generating extra melanin and this pigment reasons the floor to grow to be darker. Hair on the different hand is 'ineffective' despite if it too consists of melanin so whilst the sunlight destroys the melanin on your hair not something replaces it with extra melanin and it maintains to be bleached.
