The fastest, and best, way to get rich is to start your own business, and build it up into a success. It can be any business, like paving streets, or dry cleaning, or computer service, or remodeling homes, etc. etc. The other thing that is absolutely essential is that you must spend far, far less than you bring in each month. I think you should read the book "The Millionaire Next Door" by Stanley. It is an excellent work that contains great wisdom. Col. Sanders of Kentucky put his very first social security check in with a bunch of money he had saved to launch a new business called "Kentucky Fried Chicken", and the rest is history, so age is not a factor. Ray Kroc was in his early 50's when he founded another business called "McDonald's". Go for it.

If you don't want to own your own business then you HAVE to invest. A long term plan investing in mutual funds (less risk) can make you a millionaire. You just have to make sure you dont take any money out until you reach an amount you are happy with. It works due to the magic of compounding - hope this helps.
