I don't. I believe 9/11 was caused by bad homeland security and imperialistic foreign policy in the Middle East. Improve security, fix the policy, and you will reduce the terrorist threat...no war required!!!

The Bali bombing mainly killed Australians, who do have an imperialist foreign policy in the Middle East.

Like I've said before, it's a phrase this administration uses to do what they want, When this one wears out they'll come up with another one to challenge your patriotism, and cry 911. They know the Americann people are tired of it but they care as long as they keep stocking their pockets with cash and the American corperates make the money their making by keeping it going. The ones in Washington think the American public is stupid and they don't care what we want it's what they want and what is good for them and their friends.

Actually, until my daughter declared her minor as Women's Studies I would have agreed with you. In the 60's and 70's when I was in college, "woman's studies" was usually man hating women, often but not always lesbians who were making a point of pushing an agenda and the studies seemed to get lost. After auditing a few classes and reading some of the books, I am surprised to learn how much of the contributions of women have been for lack of a better word suppressed. I think as an additional history, it is actually a good thing and appropriately taught, not as a get even with the evil repressive men, but as a hey, look at this, we're pretty ok as a gender and as human beings, women's studies makes healthier more even relationships between the genders and less competition. Men should be encouraged to take the classes. Just a thought We're all pretty special, we should all know why

Something happened on 9/11 and I know I will be voted down for this so I understand many Americans thoughts on that day. Yes I saw the aircraft strike the towers - No question. The Pentagon was not struck by any civilian aircraft. This is based on the evidence I saw that day and 32 years experience dealing with collisions. I want to know the absolute truth about the Pentagon. If we fired a missile and it hit the Pentagon - All the President has to do is say - yep one missile went awry and we hit our own building. I am OK with that. Just a note. Why did the servicemen who died in the Pentagon family's receive and average of 3 million each. I know this to be factual as a friend of the family lost someone there that day a naval enlisted man.

Imperialistic foreign policy in the middle east, eh? OK what's Bali's foreign policy in the middle east? Really, they have none? So why'd THEY get bombed too?

Want to know why these a--holes behead people? Because the Koran tells them to.

As usual, your far-left ideaology fails to grasp the concept that many people in the world are not interested in "love and peace for all". The jihadists don't give a damn about our homeland security or imperialism. They simply want to kill us. The idea that we could sit down and chat with these guys and "work things out" is just ridiculous. Take a history lesson from WWII and the Nazis. Appeasement and negotiation do not work with madmen. The only way to eliminate the terrorist threat is to eliminate terrorists. Which is why we are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan in the first place. And in case you haven't noticed, we haven't been attacked in the last five years. It's not a coincidence.

I'm with you on this. I think this whole Global War on Terror thing is a crock of crap. It's exactly what happened with Communists. Now the "trendy" group to loathe and despise and hunt down like dogs happens to be Muslim. I can't believe people fall for the same ploy every time.

Not really.
I agree with you in some respects.
But if the US is threatened then I believe that a military response is necessary.
My question is when will it ever end?
When there is no more terror?
That is never going to happen so I guess it goes on forever.
But don't get me wrong, I think that radical Islam is extremely dangerous but I don't think that the war on terror is not going to fix that problem.

There is a terrorist movement in our own country. This movement seeks to rip away our sovereignty and give all authority to the UN. This terrorist group calls the insurgents in Iraq "patriots". This group desperately wants America to lose the War in Iraq. This group can proudly call you one of its own. Watch out people. This dude is dangerous. Read his Q/A's.

Get real. What future horror in the US will it take for you to understand that there are people out there who believe that we must no longer exist, regardless of whatever "policy" or appeasement our politicans come up with.

With the murder rate what it is these days, why not declare a "war on murder" and invade ourselves? Or maybe we should treat criminals like criminals, hunt them down and try them for their crimes, not kill everyone who looks like them.
