Yes, Hurley, and she was in psych ward too - It had something to do with her husband dying, they never explained it, then killed her off just when things started going good!

Yes, Hurley and Libby were linked through the mental institution, but they never met there nore did they know each other. Although Libby while on the island does recognize Hurley, Hurley does not recognize Libby.
At the end of the episode you see Libby sitting accross from Hurley at the institution.
By far, it was my favorite episode.

Yeah, it shows from a distance Hurley and his 'imaginary friend' having their picture taken then the camera pans round and you see Libby. They never really explained that, and now she's gone =(
