Provided it is definite "foreceable rape" - Chemical Castration.
I also think this is the best avenue for dealing with child molesters. Since rehabilitation stats with these individuals are dismal at best - to release a sexual predator from custody (even after they have served the provided sentence) is playing a dangerous game of "beat the odds". We cannot just keep ppl in prison indefinetly...There's got to be a better way. If the urge to perpatrate such crimes is eradicated prior to their release, the risk to communities would be almost zero.
Of course the argument "My Civil Rights have been Imposed Upon or Trampled On".....WELL - in my opinion when you impose your sick/twisted/diabolical urges upon innocent people you give up certain rights & privelages the rest of the law abiding public enjoy!
Stat: child molesters - 60%either reoffend or had priors
Sexual assaults/rape-40%reoffend

I'm not one for killing someone just because they committed a bad crime like rape (though I would probably want to). Nor do I think they should play a game of toss your salad in prison.
With that said, I would go with chemical castration. It's done in some prisons and after it's finished, the rapist couldn't hump a stuffed animal.

If it's a male rapist who rapes women put him in a cell with a sado masakist homosexual rapist. If he rapes men, stick him in a cell with a female dominatrix. Visa versa if it's a female rapist. If they like sex so much, let them have it, just not the way they like it. Give them a taste of what it's like to be violated painfully.

A lobotomy! This would be the only way to stop them from inflicting a lifetime of pain on others or destroying childrens' lives.
Rape and murder are the two most selfish crimes on the books. They are hell-bent on self-gratification, feeling powerful, and inflicting pain.

depends on the situation, but i would say some jail time.
