going away on day trip to scotland tomorrow from Belfast so getting up at 6am and husband says he he will get up and make me a breakfast been married 14 years and never ever has he done his !!

hmmm, couple of scenarios, wonder which is the most likely:
(1) after 14 years of marriage he has suddenly woken up to the fact that he is so lucky to be married to a wonderful woman like you, and wants to spoil you rotten!
(2) he is doing something sneaky on the side and doesn't want you to find out so, to cover his tracks and throw you off the trail, he is spoiling you rotten!
(3) you are going to Scotland and he is worried you are playing away so he has decided to be extra-nice to you so you won't fancy some hunky caber-tossing Scotsman in a kilt!
(4) it's all to do with the ps3 ...
you lucky girl, enjoy the breakfast, give him a big snog, promise him a night of passion tomorrow night and you might even get a dinner out of it.

Just enjoy it and dont over annalise things, i do it all the time and it can ruin stuff liek this... doesnt it make it ten times sweeter if he has never done it.. i think if my hsband made my breakfast every day i would get ungratefull coz i would expect it.. like he does with me and its not really the point is it.
