For people having trouble with gallons/liters, there are approximately 3.8 liters per 1 US gallon, so divide the "gallon" prices by 4 to get a pretty good "price per liter" estimate.

The average around here is $2..25 a gallon(Salem, Illinois, United States)which I think a little more than 4.5 liters in a gallon which works out I think to about .50 a liter.
