I love your question!
1) The Exorcist
2) Psycho
3)Halloween
4)The Hand
5) Nightmare on Elm Street
6) Friday the 13th
7) A Stranger is Watching
8)The Fog
9) The House on Haunted Hill
10) Saw 1 II and III
Notice I have a lot of older classics on the list...anything that can scare across generations should be on it. 1 and 2 scared my grandmother, my mother, myself and my daughter and are still very popular!

In no particular order:
-Halloween
-The Exorcist
-The Changeling
-A Nightmare on Elm Street
-Jaws (not really a horror film, but scared the heck out of everyone who saw it the first time around)
-Psycho
-The Haunting
-Carrie (the original)
-Night of the Living Dead (the original)

WEll I would have to say as a child Halloween. But the movie "Joy Ride" and "Wrong turn" really freak me out. Texas Chainsaw massacre I would have to say is really gross too, i am talking about the very first movie that came out, and I believe it was based on a true story. Talk about scary, geez I would have sh*t myself to know someone was coming after me with a chainsaw. Creeeeepy!
