about 35 yrs ago i was working as a parking valet when the bride's dad came out into the parking lot and collapsed. I remembered a car that I parked had a doctor's bag in it and ran into the restaurant and found the doctor and his wife and had him come out to help the person (who was now in cardiac arrest). The doctor and his wife did CPR and the man was removed to the hospital where he recovered. I was praised for quick thinking and the owners of the restaurant to this day still praise me for my actions. This incident led me to a career as a Paramedic and I was at the World Trade Center on 9/11., but that is another story!

I helped a pedestrian who was hit by a truck a couple weeks ago. I made sure that his head and neck were stabilized and stayed with him until the paramedics arrived. The cops took a small report of what I saw, and then I was on my way. I don't want recognition for that. My Father has saved many lives, and thankfully taught me a lot of first aid knowledge should I ever find myself in that situation. Thankfully it came in handy, and thankfully the gentelman lived. :)

I bought some gifts for a girl in the angel tree foundation. I didn't get any recognition and I'm fine with that.

i worked with people who were in care. i loved that job. i found out that there was sexual and physical and verbal abuse going on and that reports were not made or were ignored or tossed away . i complained and reported this . 3 years of being drummed out for reporting the abuse caused me to suffer depression anxiety and ptsd. and later become unable to work as a result of the ptsd. in addition after i quit some of the *** holes said i was mistreating the people. interesting since in all the time i was there working no one said a thing only after i left and could not speak up for myself like the people i cared for did the cowards accuse me of any wrong doing.
loss of a house no marriage loss of a horse and loss of friends
along with disability and loss of reputation was the reward i got .
however at one point a couple years after i left i had wrote the board of directors and then at last some people were fired.
not the lady the cops wife who was behind the drumming me out idea. which she got from her f#cking cop husband.no she still works there and does dick all lies and gets fatter by the day may she rot in hell.

Act: Donated a kidney to my mother-in-law's cousin.
Recognition: one hell of a cool scar!!! He is still alive (9 years now) and his kids have a dad. That's all I need.
