You have to know the exact time and place of your birth. Then this is calculated into the chart. It's too complex to explain here. There are a lot of books out there if you are interested in learning about astrology. Linda Goodman's is very generalized and won't give you what you are looking for. Mine are all packed away right now or I would give you some titles. What a wonderful eerily accurate science. And worth exploring.

Enter your date of birth, time (it is preset to 12:00 noon if dont know the hour of your birth), and city. It will give you the ascendant, then you sun sign, moon sign, venus,mars, etc....in that order. it's a great website.

u have to know ur birthdate & the time of ur birth.. search for it at the astrology websites and u'll find ur ascendant sign or in other words.. rising sign..
