#1) Is it normal for a woman's PMS symptoms to change over time? For example, at one point irritability & cramping were major symptoms, and then down the line they're not an issue but breast tenderness/bloating is the 'new' symptom?

#2) How frequently do women get colds as a symptom at the onset (or near the onset) of her period? (For 2 months in a row, I got a cough/cold just around the beginning of menses!!) Do you think these are contagious, or what?

Hi, I am 30 years old and started having my period when I was 11. The first several years I never used to get PMS symptoms, but as I got older I started suffering from major cramps, sometimes so bad that I almost pass out.
Throughout all the years though I would say it fluctuates from month to month.
As far as getting a cold for 2 months in a row right in the onset of mences I don't know, it might be that our immune system is slightly weakend due to loss of blood during this time so more susceptible to sickness and now is the flu and cold season so it's just floating aroung out there.
