The only live action version of anime I have seen is "Pretty Guardian Senshi Sailor Moon"... and I was wondering what other good live actions are out there? I wanted to see the Live Death Note movie but I couldn't find any with subtitles. :(

Well I'll have to say first, if PGSSM is th eonly live action anime based drama that you've seen, then you are in for a treat because there are alot of others that are very good. Well for starters, Although I only watched the beginning Death Note movies (Live Action) seem to be reguarded as very good. As for other live action dramas, there is Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl) the special affects are really good in this one and the acting of Ai is really good also. If you like horror anime, give this live action a try.
As someone also mentioned GTO (Great Teacher Onitsuka) is a classic anime/manga based Live action (said to have had the highest ratings when the last episode aired) and there is also Gokusen which is a similar anime/manga that has a 2 season live action drama.
Hana Yori Dango (Boys over Flowers) is another good anime based live action that just recently started a second season.
Nodame Cantibile is a live action based off of a music based manga that recently started airing a anime series for this one also.
To Heart is a anime based off of a love simulation game so is more of a romance drama that has a live action.
Ace of Nerae which I beleve the story is situated around baseball is another anime based live action drama.
There is a Detective Conan Live action also.
the world war 2 based anime Grave of the Fireflies also had a live action movie
Legend of Condor Hero is also anime based live action.
Saishuuu heiki kanojo (She: The Ultimate Weapon) had a live action movie
and You're Under Arrest had a live action.
These are the ones that I can think of that are anime/manga based live action dramas and movies. Hope it helps ^^;

There is one called Dragon Ball: The Legend Begins, which is a live action version of Dragon Ball z. Other than that i cant think of any.
