Of course I am refering to: marijuana, heroin, cocaine, acid, ecstacy... etc.

ESPECIALLY POT!! The other stuff is a lot more addicting, so I kind of get that... but still, feel free to discuss any of it.

Let me just say that I'm not suggesting pot be legal or even that alcohol be illegal... I'm just wondering why we make the distinction between the two in legal terms.

Alot of people are too relaxed with the idea of smoking pot. I think a drug is a drug whether it be pot, alcohol, meth, crack ect...It should all be illegal. Pot is a mind altering substance and it is considered a stepping stone to harsher drugs. Some say it isn't but I am in recovery (10 years clean from cocaine) and I know that I started out just socially takin a toke of weed. I then eventually dropped out of school (I was a 4.0 gpa before weed). Life went down hill from there for me. I am now successful and happy but still suffer consequences from my past everyday (I eventually went to prison for selling drugs to support my own addiction). Weed should not be taken so casually. Maybe some people do not go to harsher drugs that ultimately kill their dreams but what about the ones it does affect? Don't they matter? Drugs are the ultimate destruction for this world. It is the devils weapon and we fall right into it. All drugs are a plague and the world would be a sweet place without them!

Because one puff of a drug or injection and you're stoned. With alcohol, if you have one beer or a glass of wine or something, you are not necessarily drunk or impaired in any way.
