That is an old wives tale, as soon as the semen is in you the sperm will swim up to try and fertilize the egg, it does not matter about the legs, but if you are wanting to increase your fertility take bee royal jelly its all natural and truly works you can read about it on www.beeroyalproducts.com it worked for me I have 3 now .Good Luck

I've read that you need to elevate your hips on a pillow approximately 20-30 minutes after sex so that the sperm can flow with gravitiy & find your egg. As far as putting your legs up in the air, I've tried that and I'm still not pregnant yet.

Good Luck

I don't know if legs in the air would work. Well sperm has to travel up right ..........so I guess it makes sense. I know what would work Sex like 5 times a day every day in different possitions. And I heard climaxing at the same time keeps/pushes/forces the sperm to stay around longer (inside instead of coming out) . Your uterus contracts. That's all I know. HAVE ALOT OF FUN and remember making a baby out of sheer love is the best method

It took my husband and I one month to conceive and I did the legs in the air trick. I know it sounds silly but I think it might have worked. I also sat with my butt in the air depending on the sexual position. Good luck!

I was on the pill for 11 years and I gave it up a month a go to start a family with my husband. I laid around afterward with my hips elevated on a pillow for about 20 - 30 mins and now I am 5 weeks pregnant! I figured his fishies had a challenge with my previous B/C experience so I thought I'd help them along and it worked!! I say go for it and good luck!!!

Honestly, those things won't help at all. If you are ovulating all you have to is have sex. I don't remember how to accurately calculate your ovulation date but I think that it is usually somewhere around 15 days after the first day of your menstrual period. You can also buy an ovulation detector(same sort of thing as a home pregnancy test) that will tell you whether or not you are ovulating. But for you to get pregnant you definitely need to be ovulating! Nothing else will help.

I know it sounds crazy! But I promise it works. I was trying for over a year when I was told to lay there after sex and not to move. I layed there for at least an hour before I got up! The second time I layed there and fell asleep!! BOOM! I was PREG!! the same month!!

And to think some people seem to get pregnant just by being in the same room together!

If you're both healthy and fertile, I don't think it really makes any difference. The little buggers are way too small to be influenced much by gravity, and they're terrific (and determined) swimmers!
