Yes, it would for those that were serious about what's right and wrong. However, it probably would be more tolerable among the masses because there would be less to outwardly show premarital sexual relations.

I believe that sex before marriage is a positive thing, you gain experience. Now, that doesn't mean I think people should be havng sex with 10 people before they marry, but 3 or 4 partners can be healthy. Why would you want to get in a relationship without having sex with the person, what if your not compatible in that way- sex can be very important in a relationship. But pregnancy although, I think should definetely be saved until after marriage. If a person isn't mature enough to practice safe sex, they shouldn't be having it at all. Why do people bring children into the world so unprepared?

If there wasn't a pregnancy issue, sex before marriage will still be looked down upon. Sex is not wrong. It's just that God created sex especially for married couples. It's suppose to be kind of a special connection you can only have with your spouse and no one else. It also means that you love your future spouse so much that you are able to keep yourself pure. It's a great gift to give to your spouse. All of yourself which has not been touch by another person except your future spouse.

Not having sex before marriage is so antiquated. I can understand if the kids are under 16 years of age, there could be some problems. If two people really love each other...what's wrong there?
In the days before birth control, many 'love children' came about. So...if you have sex, do it safely. Not just for the risk of pregnancy, but for STDs.

Not to mention all the STDs you can get. I have never been married and have 2 kids. In my defense I was with their father 12 years. The pregnancy's hurt my mom, but the sex before marriage is all I heard from her. I was living in sin. I dont think people concentrate on it as much as they use too, but I guess it is bad. If I had a daughter, I would want them to wait.

sex before marriage isn't looked down upon in many countries and cultures. In those that do, it's not becuase of pregnancy, it's because if you don't actually get married then there is more than one man who has had sex with a woman and men are jealous creatures who can't stand that.

I think some people would still say its bad, I mean if girls would get birth control and guys use condoms everytime then the chance of getting pregnant is very slim. But the religous aspect is that you are saving yourself for your husband or wife, that you would be pure. I bet if you did a poll on who was a virgin when they got married there may be only a few people.

Statistics say that is is more widely accepted these days. From all age groups....

As for the risk of no pregnancy- I'm sure it would go down tremendously- It makes sense why society frowns on it.

no...cuz nobody would know that its happening...its not like theres people who watch you every second of every day just to see if you have sex before marriage. The U.S. is full of hypocrites who depend on the troubles of others to make a decision and give it a bad meaning.

It is wrong because the Lord says it is wrong... the fact that a pregnancy may take place is not the real reason that it is wrong. God's ways are best. God places a very high value on purity.
