Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago, D.C., Richmond, California, Compton, California, Cleveland, Ohio and New York City. The numbers vary greatly from year to year because you can guess such a rating spurs the Police Chief to police the city better and send an example, cracking down on crime. I believe criminals mostly kill one another and not random victims, so although it is a horrible statistic, it shouldn't be used to make living decisions. That sounds weird but I really think that. Cities with poverty and higher populations are going to have higher numbers and lastly, I must say that law districts use different kinds of reporting techniques and reporting software that sway the numbers as well.

I just read where the death rate in Washington DC is higher than it is in Iraq.
So it's safer to join the military and go to Iraq than to live in the nation's capital.
I not positive that DC is the deadliest in the US. LA and NYC might be worse.
