i'm a 26 year old single female with a great personality, but i can't get a man to notice me, because i'm overweight.. why are men so based on looks alone? why can't they meet someone and for once try to get to notice the person for their personality and not based on their looks?

Only later in life do we start to care what the person is like.Because we are animals looking for sex in the beginning.

I am sure you are not looking in the right places, next time you speak to a man try to get his attention of you weight by asking him inleligent questions.

It's not just men who are superficial. I know an awful lot of women who care a lot more about how a guy looks than what his personality is like.

women are more so. Its not men that spend much of thier income on hair, nails and clothes.
I personally am just not sexualy attracted to overwieght women. I like em think, but not too thick. but Im skinny. So I have nothing against big folk. I just like women that are more like myself.
