Have you given your best answer points?

Question

to the person who gave you a star? I have- at least on 2 occasions...

But usually i just vote for who gives the most creative, informative or funny answer depending on the question I ask.

So who wants the best answer points? give me one solid reason!

Well, I deserve them because I have this problem. For 2 years now, I have had a growth on the side of my nose. It only hair 4 hairs growing out of it, so I am still cool with the ladies, but over time, I have started to have to wear a bra wrapped over my face and cupping the growth so that it doesn't pull me off balance. I started out as a B cup, but now I am a DD and strip club promoters have been hounding me to be their featured act at the 60 and over night. I need Best Answer so that I can add it to my credits on the poster I am making for my debut night at Grandpa's Big Un's and Coffee Shop

I'm too new to even give "thumbs up" or "thumbs down." You have to be on level 2 for that so, no, haven't started giving anyone stars yet... or even asked a question because I don't have points to spare!!

Now, if that sad bit of information is not enough, consider this:

I think that's kind of unfair, giving more regard to someone who has given you a star than simply who has given a good answer. I mean, if two answers are both really, really good then I could see you deciding to give it to the person who gave you the star, that star could be a "tie breaker" factor but it's the quality of the answer that tells you whether someone likes your question or not. If they invest time doing a good quality answer, that's more respectful to you than just giving you a so-so answer and a "let me brown nose you" star!

It does seem strange.Probably it is due to some system error.But good for you that you still are coming out a winner,not that it bothers you,I am sure,because your points tally is over twice that for level 7.But tell me honestly.At your level do points really matter?I have never bothered about points.Isee the points only when I receive a mail from Yahoo offering congrats for reaching the next level.I derive satisfaction in participation and exchanging vies,pleasantries and learning something new.The latest piece of info that I have is that India which had the pride of place in producing the hottest pepper (chili) in the world called Bhut Jolokia has lost out to,of all places,the UK where a greenhouse expert has grown a hybrid variety which has a Scoville heat unit measure of over 1.35 million compared with the Bhut Jolokia's score of 1.05 units.May be trivia but all the same an interesting piece of info.Incidentally,the new variety of chili is called Naga Viper. Have a Spicy Hot Day.

I like giving best answer points to other people cause that gives you 3 points in return. I like getting best answer points to get enough points to reach the next level so I can ask/answer more questions in a day. I'm at work bored and this site makes my day go by faster but right now I'm only on level 2 and about 1/2 way through the day I reach my limit of questions I can answer and I want to be able to do it all day!

I give the best answer to the answer that i like the best. I like getting the best answer points but i think the others want them more so maybe you should pick one of them.

I always give best answer to my favorite or best answer. I never even look at the stars.

i try to vote for the most informative, but usually it's the one that makes me laugh the most....it's hard to get alot of informative answers in this section :)
