My son is getting married in April and they need at least 3 peices of music. They don't want the usual 'Here comes the bride' (dum dum de dum) and it can't be religious. Something for the bride to walk in to, something while they sign the registry and finally something rousing for leavng the building!

Put on Antonio Vivaldi. Something from "The Four Seasons" or possibly something of that area.

Probably Enya's instrumental music i used that for my wedding but we used the Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin by Wagner which is called Here Comes the Bride even though those words are not even in the actual lyrics to that song that's something someone made up and eventually everyone used it.

If you're curious as to the real lyrics they're here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridal_Chorus

FOR the bridal march i'd say Watermark (by Enya) or an instrumental version of the Irish traditional She Moved Through The Fair.

If you're talking about the guests signing the registry try Willows On The Water, Lothlorien, No Holly For Miss Quinn, Miss Claire Remembers, Isobella, Shepherd Moons, River and Tea House Moon all by Enya.

For the final tune maybe Victory from The Lord of the Dance which is very robust and jovial or Victory by the classical meets techno girl group Bond.

As you requested none of these have lyrics except for the chanting in Tea House Moon but it's indecipherable and none of these songs are religious.

I suggest buying a few wedding music CDs and simply picking some nice pieces, avoiding the dum-dum-de-dum part. When you listen to it, you'll get a better idea of what works for each part of the ceremony. There is plenty of choices.

How about;

bride in to 'are you gonna be my girl?' by Jet
Registry signing to 'Sign your name' Terence Trent D'arby
leaving building to ' absolute beginners' David Bowie?

You could of course swap the bowie and jet tracks around to make the departure more rocking!

Good luck with it all.

"Color My World" by Chicago is beautiful for a wedding march. Also check out Dave Koz. He plays sax and has some music perfect for weddings too. I love "If Love Is All We Have" and "Lucky Man" .... amazing song with incredible lyrics.

I hope this is what you're looking for and congrats to your son. :)

There are plenty of nice classical pieces you could use - Pachbells - Cannon in D is quite popular. Air on the G string is another nice one
