I thought oxford was a cloth, not a color.

Oxford isn't a color, it is a style of shirt. If someone says they are wearing an "oxford button-up" (which I am guessing is where you heard of it) they mean that they are wearing a dressy shirt with buttons and a collar.

It is not oxford, it is oxblood. It is a deep burgundy.

i think its a type of color...in black or white......not sure tho
