I use the monitor also. I became pregnant with my daughter the first month i tried... I am also TTC month 6. I try to make sure we are intimate at least every other day when I have the high marking. If you wait until it is at peak you might miss it... Since we test in the morning, the hormone surge indicating ovulation, can occur any time during the day and we wouldn't know until the nest morning. Since the egg only lives 12-24 hours, it would be easy to miss if that surge hit mid day...

Well, I hope that is helpful... Good luck and many baby blessing...

I saw this sex advice lady on tv last night. She said to get a kit called the Luna ovulation predictor kit, she said it's inexpensive. It's a saliva based test and reusable. She said when you see the certain changes in your saliva that you should have sex for 3 days in a row. I'm not sure I'm helping you with my answer. I bet you are not doing something wrong, it's just harder for some than others. I'll be wishing you the best of luck.

Well I've heard that you should stay laying down for a few mins. after sex, but I would say to get the best answer you should contact your doctor! Good luck!
