She doesnt believe there is something wrong with my knee, when I move it , it hurts. When I stand up for more than 5 minutes it hurts, when I am holding more than 15 pounds it hurts. How do I get her to see that?

go to the nurse at school. Maybe a note from her will prompt your mom to take you to the doctor.

Sometimes you just have to do it yourself. My back ached since I was 12. Chronic pain. My parents never believed me and thought that I was just complaining. When I was 18 I saved up some money and went to physio and they told me I had scholiosis which was getting worse without treatment. Now I feel better and my parents felt horrible for a bit.

I suggest making a doctors appointment and telling them what is wrong. When your parents find out you were hurt they will be more prone to believe you next time.

She might not believe you if you don't act like your in a lot of pain. My sister was kind of a hypocondriac (spelling?) so when I got hurt my parents didn't believe me. I remember one time I broke my elbow, but my parents didn't take me to the doctor until like 4 hours later because they didn't believe me. Did you injure your knee, or it just started hurting? And for how long has it been hurting? Just keep insisting to your mom it hurts. Thats all I can think of.

have you shown her this growing bump?
have you asked herto take you to the doctor?
kids don't usually want to visit a doctor so I would think if you told her to take you to a dr she'd take you seriously.
If she wont .. try asking an aunt to take you. that way she'd see you're serious.. even if the Aunt can't.. she'd probably tell your mom you asked her to.
swelling in the knee isn't a good sign. is it swelling or just a bump& bruise?
if youhit it and it's a concussion.. it will her for quite a while.

tell her and show her... this is important. Do it until she believes you. This is one of the few ways.
