and why do you have them as friends?
I have 3 close friends who are amazing because they are always there and supported me through loads and i have supported them loads!

You can have as many friends as you like but not all of them are true friends only time will tell when a friend is a true friend

I wish I could say the same.
But, I can't. Well, I'm happier than 4 years ago, when i had none at all, or nothing approaching.
I suppose, even if someone is your friend, you have to respect their individuality: like, accept that they can only do so much. After all, they are not husbands or wives.
So, in that respect, I have learnt a lot.
I used to think that my ex-husband was my best friend.
Well, I'm glad you found that precious gold.

You can call as many people as you consider to be your friends, friends. Why should it matter? And why do you have them as friends? Since you have 3 close friends I believe you should know the answer to that.

i have 2 close friends and they are enough
and i mean with it that i can trust them in every situation , i can tell them all
i have many other people which are friends but not with the meaning of this 2
i think that there is a huge difference but no proper word to define the "friend" word

To be brutally honest I moved to a new state a year ago and I still haven't found anyone that I would consider my friend. I have people that I eat lunch with or chill with but I know none of them would have my back under all circumstances. Which is sad but most definitely true.

I have many people I am cool with and go clubbing with but they are two faced so therefore I dont consider them friends. True Friends.. I have three who i would tell my secrets to..

there is a difference between friends and people you know. friends are people that you can actually trust with preatty much everything. now you can know a lot of people but that does not mean that there are youre friends. so you can have three friends or as many as you want just as long as you know that you can trust them with anything personal or just simply make a joke with out then getting mad. overall it is up to us how many people we consider friend. i also have about 3 close friends although there are lots of people i know and somtimes go out with. my 3 buddies have stuck with me through thick and thin and i have for them. theres nothing like a good mate and i appreciate them well.

umm....I call friends the ones that have lasting power or the onoes that you can alwasy kow are there even if you have not talked for a while.
all others are just associates. IMO
