My reaction of intense anger when I am being hurt.
I learned to protect myself behind anger...not wanting people that wounded me when I was a child to see that they hurt me....I am 48 years old....and can go for months without slightly being upset....and then if someone does/says something hurtful to me....my old protective way takes over....and it ain't purty....I wish I could be set free from that.
