I know about Kayak and travelocity and Cheaptickes and Expedia and Orbitz... is there anything else? So far, Kayak is the best one I have found.

Depends on the kind of travel you are looking to search for but if you are looking for a quick weekend getaway in the Northeast, this is a good resource: http://www.escapemaker.com
to find lodging, packages or cool local events.

I like Travelzoo--their netfares supersearch. You enter your search information on their site, and it gives you recommended sites.--everything from airline sites to expedia and orbitz. You only need to enter your search info once--when you go to the recommended sites, your travelzoo info automatically uploads.
