I think she did have gastric banding or something like that, although it's absolutely true that that kind of surgery should only be done on obese people, not someone who wants to lose 15 or 20 pounds. However, for the right amount of money, I think Californian plastic surgeons will do anything! There's someone out there willing to take money from Michael Jackson, Jackie Stallone, The Bride of Wildenstein....
She has gained a bit of weight back already. However, I think she's ALSO on drugs. We know she smokes cannabis and she's taken heroin... drugs that make you lose your appetite like cocaine, crystal meth or Ecstasy can keep your weight down if you're taking them frequently.
She must also have a form of body dysmorphia, which can be linked to eating disorders or be an illness in its own right, which means she can't see herself the way she really is. She'll look in a mirror and see someone bigger than she is. I don't want to claim I'm definitely right, but body dysmorphia is a mental issue that therapy can help with.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Possibly. The effects of mainstream ideals of looking a certain way effects celebrities as well. Maybe even more so. Their still human and their fame makes them more vulnerable to how the media dotes on people who are thin and considered to be attractive. So the mind control comes into play on celebrities and regular folk alike. Each and every person who watches a thin and shapely young woman posing in a bikini and/or muscular and naturally-thin man working out without a shirt on TV will often stir up feelings of insecurities in each and everyone of us prone to such manipulations. Nicole is nothing more than another victim of mind control by the media, whether she's starving herself or got surgeries.

Muscle mass melts away more calories, so include three 20-minute strength-training sessions per week.

No, she just doesn't eat enough. Doctors only perform that surgery on someone who is very overweight, which she never was.
