My assistant and I disagree on whether McDonalds Milkshakes are the same. Whether the chocolate and vanilla taste the same. Please provide your feelings and thoughts on this matter.

yea!! vanilla and chocolate DO taste the same!! whats up with that? it's like the chocolate shake has like one DOT of chocolate flavor in it, and it bearly looks brown at all...

That is a good question. Sometimes I order a chocolate milkshake and when I suck it through the straw it taste like vanilla so I open the top and look at it and its brown, so I assume its chocolate. Later on throughout the milkshake it takes like chocolate. Its the same when I order a vanilla and it taste like chocolate, I look at it and its white. All in all I say its good and tasty and I like all flavors, but for those who don't like all flavors, they might complain.

They taste very similar to me. The chocolate tastes like vanilla with a very very small hint of chocolate added to it. If I am not really paying attention when I'm drinking a chocolate shake, I don't catch the chocolate taste at all & the chocolate shake tastes like vanilla.

Other than one tastes like chocolate and the other tastes like vanilla.....sure they taste the same.

i have never tried them side by side but i can never taste the chocolate in a chocolate milkshake from mcdonalds.

Well they are sort of the same inasmuch as they are both disgusting.

They are not the same. I worked at a McDonald's and got my fair share of the stuff....definently not the same.
