The right way, the poke and jab typing is WAY to inefficient. and it makes people look like they are incapable of learning.

Different ways different times. The most I use is eight fingers at one time. I learned in two days in the Army. They give you a recorded program and a keyboard and tell you 40 words per minute with no more than one mistake or off to war you go. By the test on the third day, we all got the 40 words. Wonder why.I am up to 80 words a minute now with about three mistakes on average which is hard as I have huge hands, even for a guy. I know this one Army Guy that got 220 words per minute. Oh, and someone says Army Guys are stoo-pid - guess what - we ain't that stupid you suckers.

the "right" way requires 2 fingers + another 6 fingers + one or two thumbs. So the "right" way, IS with two fingers.
