If this was a film I would be interested to watch it. I mean why would Superman help the bad guys? How did Wonder Woman show up? Who killed Batman?

Usually a trailer is a short preview of a movie coming out soon on the big screen or DVD. they were called a trailer in the VHS
Early V.H.S. days because it was advertisements for movies coming out and they trailed the main event
Then they went before and after the movie.

But nowadays you can do it pretty much however you want
with your movie .
and movies have been made about every topic out there
Video games, commercials,books, dreams whatever.
so anything is possible.
If different people shoot a movie based on a trailer all ready in
circulation will they have to shoot a new trailer?

I think that is the question

check out Batman: Dead End...pretty much the inspirationfor DC upping the ante in order not to embarass themselves by puttingout a multimillion dollar folly clearly inferior to an $30.000 fan film. The guest stars are a riot...and as far as Iam concerned...still the best Batman ever filmed....short...and sweet...

the others are not bad especially World's Finest...

Peace...
