late spring/early summer, outdoor nature themed. deep and vibrant shades of greens, purples, blues, maybe small hints of pinks. all little details will go along with the nature theme, like fishbowls with live fish as table centerpieces (which will also be taken home by guests), the ring bearer will hold the rings in a birds nest instead of a pillow, guests will throw birdseed instead of rice, favors will be tiny tree seedlings for guests to plant at their own homes. i will be barefoot with my "something blue" painted toenails, my dress will be ivory, spaghetti strapped with a sweetheart neckline. my hair will be worn up with flowers in it, NO veil. ceremony will be short, sweet and to the point, NO bridesmaids or goomsmen, just me, my man, and our kids. i will walk down the aisle while my brother in law is playing elton john's "your song" on the acoustic guitar. once the ceremony is finished, we'll have a buffet reception with all of the guests, then there will be an after party for the adults to drink, dance and have a good time.

A small church wedding with a reception at the end; family and closest friends only. Color themes include lime green, gold, and white.
It's funny isn't it? How many people tend to concentrate on the wedding instead of the marriage! lol. Anyway, if i were getting married that would be my dream wedding. Unfortunately, that wish was when i was a kid. Now, i don't think i want to get married, so i don't think i'll b getting dat. lol

P.S. ignore the avatar, it's a girl answering this.

Sunny day in Key West (Love that place!!!), about 80 degrees on New years Day, gazebo on the beach draped in white flowers and green ivy. A ten piece string section and about 50-60 attendees. Three bridesmaids and three groomsmen; one maid of honor and one best man. Quick ceremony and off to the clubs for the reception! Party until 3am, back to the condo and sleep till 2pm. Then get up and meet all the wedding party for a late lunch and start the festivities all over again. But this time, in a bikini!

Mine was small but it was great because the whole family pitched in a little bit; my mother-in-law and I did the flowers, my hubby and his dad did the food, and my brother-in-law helped our pastor with the music. The coolest thing was that we had the youth pastor marry us because my hubby had been working with him in the youth group at the time. It was his first wedding ceremony, so it was special for all of us. Part of me still wishes I'd been able to go all out and have some big fancy thing out on the ocean or something, but I think we did alright with what we had :)

I was married in the seafood dept. of Kroger Food Stores on Valentine's day. The store paid for the reception, the wedding gown, the flowers, and the motel room afterwards.

You know, I have been married twice, one, the first was a monster production with all the best of the best, cost my parents a fortune and I didn't enjoy a second of it, and that wasn't because I was having second thoughts about the man. I didn't even know half the people there,,,,,there were hundreds...
We got divorced...so, I just got married again...
Just the oppostie, very small, very low key and I loved it. No hype, no stress, we spent money on a good photographer, really nice flowers and the rest we went conservative on...it was fantastic....We were allowed to concentrate on what we were doing.....making a promise to spend the rest of our lives together...I loved it...go small...it is soooooooo much better!!!!

Getting married in Vegas with just us and the preacher and a wittness....beautiful ceremony and didn't have to deal with a bunch of people like my first wedding. What a waste of time and money that was...

My dream wedding would rather be letting it be a dream itself coz there is no pleasure in making it a fact of my life..then certainly it would turn to a tragedy ..wats say..
