I think I am a bad-looking guy (Ugly Boy). I am 16 yrs old...I think ia m ugly & i really am...what's the problem? i've tried not to think abt this at all or not to care but...still problems...i feel disappointed abt girls & talking to them...i'm in a country that girls have their own school as boys have...i mean they r separated...& some of my friends have girl friends but i don't! cause i think i am ugly & no girl will even take a look at me! What shall i do!? :-?? (I don't know if this is the right category or not)

Surely you can find yourself an ugly girl!? lol! Just kidding. To be honest, we as humans... we are all ugly... really now.. think about it. We have these things sticking out of our heads (ears), and in the center of our face, for everyone to see, is this deal that sticks out an inch and has two holes in it (nose). We are not pretty to look at. Do something to make yourself feel good about your look. Put together some clothes that make you feel like you are stylin. Maybe a new hair du that flatters your face. Most people don't like the way they look. But we do the best with what God gave us. Ugly is defined by each individual. Everyone has different tastes. The reason you don't have a girl friend is because you don't socialize with them much because you "think" you are ugly. Take a chance... get to know a few girls as just friends and see where it goes from there.

You have to get some confidence. You have to be positive. That's what girls like. I am sure that you have a wonderful personality. Do not dwell on the negativity. You cannot be that ugly, you just think that you are. If you think that then girls will see it. Think differently. Be happy. Laugh and have fun. I was a fat teenager who thought the same way. Things changed. Be yourself and go for the gold. Some girl will find you highly attractive because of your attitude. Looks are not everything. I find good looking guys very shallow and egotistical-yuck! Change how you feel and see what happens. I wish you much luck and love!

You shouldn't judge yourself. Some people don't care what you look like or they could think that you actually are good looking. I didn't think i looked all that great but i have a lot of girls that like me. So don't think that your ugly, just have a positive attitude and the right girl will come, it may not the first time because trust me, I've dated a lot of girls and still haven't met the "Right One" so just be normal and don't think your ugly.

Your perception of yourself is not always the perception of others. You may not be able to change some of your physical features but you can try a new hair cut, new style of dress, nice shoes, work out and build a great body and smile. You may not be attracting girls because your lack of confidence in showing and no one wants to be with a person that does not feel good about themself. Just think you can't look half as bad as Flava Flav and he had a whole bunch of women all over him but he was confident even though he did not have the looks. Work on building your confidence.

My dear, you are not ugly. I don't even know you and I can say that. Look at some of the most famous movie stars like Jack Nicholson or others. They aren't handsome but they carry themselves with confidence and pride. That is what you need to do. Dress well and be well groomed and polite. The girls love that. And give yourself a couple of years and look for more mature girls.

If you have a positive image of yourself, you'll get a girlfriend. Be proud of who you are, and have a sense of humor and you can get any girl you want.

i think everybody thinks that way when you hit puberty. it's just a stage you're going through. you'll grow out of it. my self confidence didn't hit until i was about 20 or so. sometimes you just have to wait for it to come. maybe when you get to college.
