when if you simply stop the abuse (billions in medicare alone) and stop giving it away to illegals (incentive for them to come to the US) wouldn't the Billions saved be enought to solve most, if not all of the healthcare problems in the US?

Yes, it would fix the problem or at least be a huge help. Why doesn't the gov just put us on the insurance and retirement plan they are on and then their interest will be in the right place.

To make it look like they are actually pretending to give a crap. While free health care would be nice sadly it's not an economic reality. All the money needed to do it would have to come from somewhere and where does the government go when it needs money? TAXES! If you think your taxes are high now wait until Uncle Sam starts Hoo' Ridin' allover your wallet to pay for health care.
Furthermore should we really trust them with out health? Look at everything else the government has it's hands in. New Orleans still looks like a third world country, Public transportation (i.e. busses, AMTRAK, etc.) is always having to cut routes or service to make ends meet, and our educational system is a joke.
On top of that it just invites more government control. A society that depends as much on it's administrators as ours does is not a governed nation but a ruled nation.

It would be nice if working Americans could get Dental and medical if they did not have money. But our leaders would rather give it to other countries and people coming here.I work my butt off everyday but can't get ahead. People come here buy Hotels,Stores,and Gas Stations. It ain't right. Veterans Health care is poor. I ruptured myself this morning and I know they won't repair it until I have gangrene. This Country has no Honor anymore.

Agreed. Our health care system is being abused by the welfare state that we have created. Democrats like Hillary Clinton would like to continue to convert our country to socialism by more heavily taxing our incomes and giving that money to people who refuse to work! Basic services need to be provided by our government but give me a break! Big government needs to be taken down a notch for our country to continue to be the best place to live on earth!
