I returned a movie to Netflix on Tuesday (I'm a brand new Netflix user, this is my first movie) and it's Friday and the website reports I still have it checked out. How long does it usually take? And my other question is, how many movies can do you in a week? I'm on the 1 movie at a time/unlimited plan. It took only a day and a half for my movie to arrive, so I thought I could get 2 movies a week if I watch them fast, but it seems to be taking longer!

usually the turn around is 1 working day. do yourself a favor, send all your movies back on Fri or Sat and sign up for the brand new movies coming out tues. this will almost guarantee you to get those movies.

it depends on how far it has to go. Mine usually only takes 1 day ( I dont live far from one of their distribution centers). If you are on the 1 movie plan, you can only have one movie out at a time(which sucks if it takes a long time to get them there and back)

Perhaps switch to 2 movies ( I get 3)

The length of time to get and return movies all depends on how far you live from you distribution center. I live about 30 minutes away from mine and I can get as many as three turns in a week. Usually it is only two per week.

It depends on how far away you are from a distribution center. There is a distribution center in the city I live in. Netflix gets it the day after I drop it in the mail, and I get my new movies the day after that.

It depends on where the nearest Netflix outlet is..we have about a two or three day turnaround here as our nearest office is in Baton Rouge..which means the mail usually has to go through New Orleans first. All depends on that i think.

Do what I do when this happens,,,report it as a problem and they will immediately send you the next movie on your list. It should take about a day and a half, to get back to them. Beyond that I consider them lost and report it as a problem...workd for me.

Depends where the netflix facility is and how slow the mail is where you live
