Final Fantasy is great, but nothing beats Zelda.

If zelda was Crack, then I'd be considered a crackhead.

Zelda is for babies! It's way too easy, the graphics suck, the characters don't even talk, the storyline is so simple. Nothing compares to Final Fantasy. The characters are very distinct and the story lines are so complicated and dramatic. Those are a series for real gamers. I love Final Fantasy!! I used to love Zelda. I played and beat all the Zelda games, was obsessed with it, and I never thought I'd find something better.

I even bought and beat the new Zelda game on the Wii, but nothing compares to Final Fantasy. I was playing FF XII and Twilight Princess at the same time. Sure Zelda was fun, but FF is much challenging and creative. I still haven't beaten FF XII, and I'm pretty sure I could beat Twilight Princess in a day. It took me about 40 hours to beat that game, but that was including many unecessary sidequests.

I still love Zelda , but if we're comparing it to Final Fantasy, then I really have to state my opinion.

I haven't even played Final Fantasy and I can answer this one. Definately Zelda !! But if you've never played a Zelda game I suggest you should play Zelda "Ocarina of Time" BEFORE you pick up Zelda "Twilight Princess". It will help you to understand the storyline a lot better. And there are a lot of references to "Ocarina of Time"in"Twilight Princess". If you have a Wii you should be able to download it from the Shop Channel.(It was originally a N64 title) or you can get the GC version on a Collecter's Edition. Or they did "Ocarina" for GC that includes a "Master Quest". "Ocarina of Time" was also named #1 Nintendo Game of all time by NP Magazine in a countdown they did last year. Bottom line: If you're a gamer and you haven't experienced Zelda you are truly missing out!!! "Windwaker" was good also. (no matter what anyone says)

PS:I'm over 100 hours into Twighlight Princess right now.I'm hooked. You will be to, trust me.

I've always preferred the Zelda games to the Final Fantasy games. I've played both all the way back since their first versions on the NES 20 years ago. FF games are very linear, and eventually got so complex I stopped liking them. I've played every Zelda game, and am currently working my way through Twilight Princess on the Wii. Great fun!

I would prefer The Legend of Zelda series. If you like replay value a heck of fun, and excellent puzzels, then go with zelda. If you like a good story and an ok game, plus great graphics, go with FF.
