of "-" makes "--", is there a way of coding it? Thanks.

nogooddad's suggestion is interesting in that it utilizes "character entities", but I believe this may be more suitable to your needs; one underline_____ connects to the next one, but it's too low huh... no problem. Place your underlines between the Superscript Element tags like this:

Your text_____your text. The line is now half-way between top and bottom of text string. Practice your HTML online using this simple editor:

Try putting this in when you code:



(in case it doesn't format, that's ampersand pound 151 semicolon without the spaces)

Spaces inserted so they'll show up.
