Actually, the term, "Semite", refers to "a member of any of the peoples speaking a Semitic language, including the Hebrews, Arabs, Assyrians, Phoenicians, etc.".. Technically, any descendant of "Shem" (son of Noah) to whom many middle Eastern peoples belong. In modern times it has come to exclusively refer to people of Jewish ethnicity due to the overwhelming prejudice and genocide they have been subject to.
Anti-Semitism led to Europe's holocaust in the 1930's and 40's. It is on the rise again throughout the world (particularly in Europe) and the Middle-East. Iran's leader, Ahmadinejad, who is a holocaust denier, has repeatedly called for "wiping Israel off the map" (along with the U.S.!).

I have no idea what an anti seminsit is, but if you have the wrong word I know what an anti semitist is. An anti semitist is a person who holds hostility or is prejudice to jews, as a religious, racial, or ethnic group. It can be individual hatred or institutionalized. Violence has been known to errupt.

Do you mean Anti-Semitic, this is a person who prejudges anyone of Jewish descent. They also may do things like round them up and kill them in camps or deport them.
