Not its members, just the label...

Congressman Tom Tancredo believes: "If we are serious about achieving the goal of a colorblind society, Congress should lead by example and end these divisive, race-based caucuses,"

Do you agree or disagree? Why or why not?

I completely agree with him. This all stems from the fact that a white Democrat (his name escapes me) had wanted to join the Black Caucus and they wouldn't let him. The leader said that "it is exclusively for blacks". Now if that isn't racism, I don't know what is. Race-based caucuses exist in both parties, and I think this primitive, racist and segregationist practice needs to end!

I really like Tancredo's stances on the border and these caucuses

i would agree if all the other caucases were also abolishad, for example the hispanic caucas, the republican caucas and democratic caucas all of which disriminate against something.as a black man i see that the black caucas has no power and has done nothing for blacks anyway so if they exist or not is of no significance.

It's anyones constitutional right to form into any group they wish to. You want to start a congressional anti-constitutional rights group? Go ahead.

Yes. We should end this hot bed of racism. These guys are racist pigs full of spit. Not only are they racist, they follow the religion of liberalism. Conservative blacks cannot join.

I think the "Black Causus" and other such institutions fade away on their own when they are no longer necessary.

Since they're still around....they must serve a purpose even if the Congressmen doesn't think so.

No. I think they should have to use seperate bathrooms, however, since they want to keep racism alive.
