If you go in the summer, you can go to Hersheypark. There is a nice zoo there and an outlet mall. There is the chocolate factory that you can tour. It's a dark ride. The street lights in downtown Hershey are Hershey's kisses.

For some reason, hotels are fairly expensive. For a cheap place to stay, I typically stay at either Fairfield Inn or Hampton Inn. They are fairly consistent and decent quality. If you are really looking for budget accomodation, try the Hershy Highmeadow Campground. they have tent sites and cabins as well.

Well you have to go to Hershey Park and all the great outlets up there. But most reasonable chain hotels have hotels there. Like Best Western, Comfort inn and other hotels for a luxury Hotel its a must to stay at Hotel Hershey. try hotels.com and expedia for list of hotels there and you can choose your price range.
