History Lesson 101: The entire concept of humanity dwelling together in complete peace and harmony became the mantra of cutting edge hippie and flower-children thinking during the 1960's. And then what happened? Such unattainable goals were abandoned while those same folks morphed into the yuppies of the 70's. Peace, love, and self denial were exchanged for the self-focused drive to gain power, fame, and wealth. Why this outcome? Because the actual disguised goal BEHIND the longing for peace and harmony is the greed for stability so that wealth can be personally accumulated. The planet...it will always exist in some form. Perhaps, it will remain inhabitable for awhile, or perhaps not. Can humanity "rebuild" the planet? No. Since time began, the universe has been unwinding like an 8-day clock. Can a mortal rewind the clock. Hardly. That is the reason men long for One who can do this. Hence, the reason for your honest question. The Bible mentions this person and calls Him the Prince of Peace. We shall see.

We have never lived together in peace and harmony. Humans have been fighting and killing each other since we appeared on this planet. I don't think we ever will get along.
Rebuilding this planet will have to be done by those who are able - without the help of everyone else.
Not a great answer, I know. But I don't think there really is one.

Well dude, if we cant live together in peace and harmony, then ergo we cannot rebuild the planet. Therefore we have to start living together in peace and harmony. Clear now?

Hello,
First thing I would do is to look at myself, and see what it is I am already doing that is damaging the planet, and start by putting that to rights, I think we ALL HAVE TO commence this way, and see if others around me are doing the same? They probably aren't, but that doesn't mean we still don't have to make our humble efforts.
Can you manage without your car? Would you use public Transport to get you to your Work or School? Are your friends and neighbours doing their share? If you cvan honestly answer YES to any or all these qheries, then you have alresy started to save our Space-Ball from its horrible ending, so well done you!!
So let's see what the big guns in ourlives can do, and force them to enter their,Immediate intentions on their election manifesto's, that Guarantee the elecorates of this planet, that should they fail to live up to those Guarantees, they will be obliged to give up their positions in the newly elected governmental occupations, and never apply for those positions again, because they lied to us all in their conning their way into political power, Just for these reasons alone, we could end up having National General Elections Every Week !
What Common man in this world has never said to himself " If I ruled the world, there would be differences, that would help all the world to bring their problems to the Global negotiating table, so we could resolve them there and then, at the moment those problems are dropped onto the table?"
This is where the Peace and Harmony you ask about would be materialised, never out of the open end of the war-makers weapons. we all have to commence somewhere, or I cannot see the peacful and harmonious way of life we seek starting just yet, we have the power to vote these liars into power, so we must have the power of our votes, to vote them out of power too. but the next lot, has to fulfill its manifesto promises immediately it gets behind the front door of these corridors of power..
All this, from an ordinary thinking man with no political leanings except to say I have begun to wonder why I have let these Liars get away with all this bull sh*t for so long. they have cost me, so much money in my life in all the different taxes they have costed me, and I look forward to recieving ZERO PENSION after paying money into it all my working life, Shame on them all, and Shame on me for letting them get away with it, and having to go cap in hand to these people so I don't have to live on the streets and starve to death.....
Bless you for your Question, I do so hope I have helped with this response, Enjoy your good health, and long may it last you 'Bye... Tony M..

Peace and harmony is the ideal way for people to get along, but as for the planet, people need to preserve the natural environment...This is a major problem here and abroad, as people are ruining the natural habitat.. This is necessary to help our planet now and for our children and their children... Earth is in our hands!

Me and my wife have never lived in peace and harmony but we have a beautiful house that her parents gave us. Maybe there is a way but we don't know about it.

As a system of forts and isolated communes... What does the beauty of the planet have to do with the manner in which people react to one another? If it all goes up in flames, it would remain beautiful...it would simply be a "Tree falls in the woods" scenario.

You are assuming that at some point in time, we had a peaceful existence....it's not in our nature. Man's evolution has been forged thru violence. We will always compete for what we feel are starined resources. It's an in-built reflex that keeps our species going.
