The trailer and each thing made the movie seem astounding, however the movie is actual not very like the e book. It has the characters (a number of that are performed by way of actors not appropriate for the area) however the story in the back of all of it isn't there. not a stable movie in any respect, if Christopher Paolini had some area interior the manufacturing, it could have been plenty extra effective. i'm actual fascinated by what he thinks approximately it.

If you're into The Lord of the Rings, then go see Eragon. Same sort of premise, but geared more towards teens than everyone. I still liked to though, just waiting for part 2 and 3 now.

I know I'm in the minority on this one, but...I read the book to my son, and thought it was HORRIBLE. So, when I took him to see the movie, I did so with very modest expectations. As a result, I was pleasantly surprised. Don't get me wrong; it's not a GOOD movie, but at least it held my interest, which is a lot more than I can say for the novel on which it's based.

No, I haven't seen it but I want to those Dragons look awesome Just how I imagine them to have looked when they walked the earth -they're not a myth you know, Dragons are mentioned in folklore all over the world and they are all basically the same, winged fire breathing reptiles - magnificent!!! Sorry to go on, I just love em!!

Alot of the reviews read the book, the book is definitley not like the movie. You need to make your own judgement.

Anyways, the graphics are awesome!

I saw it, I liked it but there were a lot of cheesy parts to it. The trailer to the movie is more interesting than the movie itself really. For the most part I liked it but like I said you will kinda laugh at some parts in it. Check it out and see for yourself!

Well, if you read the book, don't see the movie. The movie is almost totally different from the book.
If you have not read the book, if you like the fanatasy genre, you will probably like it since you don't know what's missing from the book.

i'm a 33 yr old man, i loved Narnia (lion witch wardrobe), Star Wars-Sith, Flight of the Navigator, and i have a feeling i would love Eragon.

I loved it!!! You should read the book first, though - it enhances it; I tried to read the book after the movie....the beginning's are different; but IT'S A GOOD MOVIE!! They casted characters perfectly - Saphira (The dragon) was amazing!

Well, there are worse things to see, I guess. The movie doesn't do the book any justice at all. So maybe if you go in with low expectations, you'll actually enjoy it?
