Yes, I think so. Unless different races decide to colonize other planets in the future (i.e. an all white crew goes to planet A, all black crew goes to planet B, all red crew goes to planet C, etc.) eventually the populations of earth will mix and become a mottled deep olive-skinned hybrid of all races, black hair, and dark eyes.

I don't think it is a good thing, I prefer variety and differences to bland sameness.

That's pretty near to impossible. I agree that you will see more people with brown skin and brown eyes, etc., but other feature cannot disappear altogether. This is because even though to gene is not expressed, many of these people carry gene for blond hair or blue eyes. If two people who carry these recessive genes meet the odds are that they pass on the gene to two of their kids and another of those kids will be blond. This is out of four kids. One will not have the blond gene.
Therefore, the blond gene (or any other recessive trait) will still be present and people will be born who have it. Unless you are suggesting that someone goes on a rampage and kills all the people who possess this gene.
Consider this. There has been no one blond in my family for at least five generations on both sides. My little sister perfectly blond. She is one out of four of us. The rest of us have brown hair.
So it is very unlikely that people would ever all look the same.

The answer is 'no'.

In order for the world to be blended into one skin color (about 30 generations or 800 years), technology would have long progressed to the point where genetically enhanced reproduction would be safe, effective and preferred.

In about 100 - 200 years (no more than 7 generations) we will be able to genetically enhance our children to select for greater intelligence, greater health, and our own concepts of beauty.

Yes. Time or Newsweek magazine did an article of including a photo of future humans. See if you can order a back issue..

I used to think if we all had the same skin color discrimination would ceased, then I remembered Iraq..religion..etc....

Maybe if we got rid of religion and skin tones..things might be better...

That's just it. Many skin tones are mixing therefore the so-called "pure" skin tone will soon cease.... JMO

I think that there is too much of people trying to figure all the details out about their babies and getting them from sperm donars to have certain looks and talents.

I think that society expects for certain looks and more and more people are trying to meet these things.

Look at people trying to get plastic surgery done to look like their favorite celeb.

No, the only way that would happen is when every race is seen as equal, and realistically that will never happen. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to create a world like that.

I believe it the far far future we will look more like one race of people.

I believe we'll be so busy trying to survive we won't care about ethnicity.

It's the next chapter in our evolution.

from the looks of it and cosmetic surgery, it looks "now" that most women between the ages of 20 and 29 all look alike (except for the color of their eyes, and occasionally the color of their hair).

Protecting your heritage is one of choice.
