Personally i've been very depressed and stressic lately; it will sound weird but i want to take a grasp of the feeling of depression so i can picture it for devotionals, my personal image would be this girl looking downwards standing on the tip of this rock with nothing around her except plain nature with dark colors including the sky (in sunset) ....

I see it as being engulfed in a dark clouding and fighting to get out but the darkness getting thicker and thicker with me trying to push my way through. I picture someone putting a hand out and me trying to grasp it and pull myself out into the sun.

I think depression looks like standing above a dark well, looking down into it and not seeing the bottom - just darkness and the walls.
