For women the best time to have children(biologically) is between 21-25 or usually the early to mid-20s. But that's not typical for most people. Once you reach about 40 you increase the chances of the child being born with some type of disability or disorder. I don't remember why but it has something to do with your ovaries and the eggs because women don't make more eggs and when you get older your eggs age too. So for some reason that increases the health risk for a child. For marriage I'd say after 24 or 25. Now that really depends on what career path you're choosing but until about 30 you're still developing your character and things like that so you are still changing as a person. I guess go with whenever you feel it's right. I plan on waiting until I'm about 24 or 25 but you never know it may happen before then or after.

Whatever time God picks for me. Which could be whenever. I don't know right now. All I know is I do want to get married and have kids. Could be this year, could be in ten years. If I knew that God was telling me to marry a certain guy, if that guy asked me today or tomorrow, then I suppose it would be this year. If not this year, some other time. I don't know exactly when it'll happen if it does. Age really doesn't matter. I've known people who got married at 16 and had a great life. I've also known a few who got married later at around 30 who also had time to have lots of kids and were very happy. So to answer you question, my ideal age would be the age I am when God tells me to get married. (Probably after 18, though, after high school is done, and after you've had a job. As for a specific age, beats me.)

I don't believe that there is a set "good" age to have as a deadline. I was 20 and my husband 19 when we were married 10 years ago. I have friends however that were married at the same age and have now been married 2-3 times as well as some that are still not married at 30 years old. It all depends on who you are marrying and the stability of your relationship and willingness to work on things together. Marriage needs constant work and attention, if you aren't willing to give it that then you are definately not ready.

If I had to do it all over again. I would wait to get married at the age of 33 and have two children back to back.

I personally got married at 22 and just had our first baby at 25. It gave us sometime to ourselves and just be married and then we were luckily enough to be blessed with a beautiful boy. You have to figure out the best age to get married and have children for yourself.

Marrying before the age of 24 INCREASES the risk of divorce by 19%, which is a lot. Before then, you marry mostly for love and ignore the serious talks about religion, similar lifestyle interests, child-rearing wishes, etc. These also increase your risk.

Between 40 -50. It takes that long to understand what's needed to raise a child.
