Get an XBox 360. It is cheaper and has more games right now. You will start having fun right away. PS3 doesn't offer anything more than the 360, at the moment. Later, like a year or so from now, the PS3 may have more games and more innovation, and you can see whether to buy one then.

I'd wait for the PS3 even though its tempting to buy an xbox 360. With the PS3 you get a lot more with 40 gigs of space on a blue ray disc so the games will have the capacity to get get huge whereas with the 360 developers are complaining about the lack of space on the discs. If you are patient enough to wait for the PS3 and have £425 of spare cash it should be worth it

Get an Xbox 360. The graphics are awesome and the games are spectacular and not mention the to-be-released Halo 3!! Plus, you wouldn't have to empty your wallet completely for a great Hi-Def game console. Stick with the 360 and forget the expensive ps3 even though it has Final fantasy XIII versus on it.

GET A PS3!!!
The wii is going to be out-dated with a couple of years and the x box 360 is to follow. The PS3 has the best exclusive titles and a really cool controller (They did not rip of the Wii as sony were creating Sega add-ons and one of them was a tilt controller. So technically Sony ripped off Nintendo - who ripped off Microsoft - who ripped off Sega - who ripped of Sony who ripped off Nasa.)
If you have a HD tv or Standard one the graphics shall still look amazing.

no the xbox is better, the only thing better about the ps3 is it has a blu ray disc drive.
the xbox has the same cpu and hd resolution. xbox is better coz of the xboxlive so you can download lots of contents,eg. new guns,weapons and cars, movie and game trailers. and you can play ure friends online or random ppl, plus youll never get lonely as you can chat,message or video chat w/friends. also more importantly you can play way more modes on games you buy,thus giving you more value for money.
the ps3 is overpriced and it has nVidia which is out of date for its release date!
you can also customize ure xbox which is cool, the ps3 u cant!

get xbox 360. my sister's friend got a PS3 and he had to get all this equip 4 it and he said it sux.
so yea go w/ 360.

hmm at the moment (i hate to admit) the ps3 is not worth it... go w/ the 360... but later on the ps3 is going to surpass the 360...
